今回は、ニューヨーク予備校で実施した模擬試験や類似問題の中から、英語の問題を紹介・解説していきたいと思います。

　I think that having a pet is a good idea, because you are able to gain responsibility through raising a pet. I have a cousin who is 3 years old. I took care of him for 3 days with my family while my aunt and uncle were away for a holiday. I helped my mother change his diapers and feed him 3 times a day. He cried a lot during the night and I woke up a lot of times to take care of him. It was a little bit stressful but I enjoyed the process. Through these tasks, I think I was able to gain responsibility. I think these tasks are similar to the tasks you must do for a pet. You must feed the pet, clean up their waste and take the pet for a walk, if necessary. Therefore, I think that having a pet is a good idea because you are able to gain responsibility.（１５８単語）
